not sure if that's even possible but it appeared my video card RAM was lower than the specs should be in my system profile. Additionally I fear somehow some of my system memory is somehow tied up in parallels and not accessible from my mac desktop. tldr my mac recognizes my controller, but the drivers don't, and I think the cause of the problem is because somehow my controller is tied to my parallels virtual machine desktop. However, the controller has been registered by my system profile.
But now I am trying to map it back to my Mac and I have no idea how to because the 360 receiver hardware isn't registering in the driver configuration settings for the 360 wireless receiver. when I plugged in my xbox 360 receiver, it asked me if I wanted to map it to my Parallels virtual machine or my computer (my Mac). More info: I used parallels and created a virtual machine. Note that there are issues to be fixed and the application may have problems disconnecting gamepads (this is being investigated), but now the application is functional on macOS Catalina. It took a lot of effort to convert the app to 64-bit and fix several bugs that have been around for years, as a bonus now we have a faster application. * You may need to install a third party driver for Xbox controllers, you can find links to them in the Support site FAQ * Compatible with controllers that does use the standard HID Joystick interface * To map Key-Combinations like Command+Q, just map two or more keys to the same input (in this example, one for Command and another for Q) * Compatible with USB and Bluetooth Joysticks * Ready-to-use examples, easily modifiable * Button/Dpad/Analog Stick/Analog Trigger -> Keyboard/Mouse/Click/Scroll The NWAdmin extensions and the NetWare Loadable Module. Some printer boards need a driver, like the FTDI.
You need a Macintosh computer with OS X 10.8 or higher running in 64 bit mode.
* Analog Shoulder Triggers can be used as buttons Joystick Mapper, An app for Mac OS X that allows you to use gamepads in any app or game. * Adjust mouse speed for analog sticks per direction individually, this can help with crappy gamepads Here’s how it works Once you download the Joystick Mapper app, you need to create a pre-set for your game preferences. And at only 4.99 from the App Store, it’s real value for money especially when considering the amount of effort it takes to develop such a complex tool. * Map any of the 4 directions from an Analog Stick independently Out of the many apps to choose from, Joystick Mapper is our pick. * Use any axis, dpads or buttons on your joystick to simulate keyboard and mouse Works great with a variety of gamepads, including (but not limited to) Xbox, Logitech, Ps3, Ps4, Steelseries, Nintendo.
